Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Singh Car Service when you book, use or interact with our chauffeur and limousine services across the United States, United Kingdom, France and Japan.

Last updated: 20 September 2026 · Effective date: 20 September 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", "your") and Singh Car Service ("Singh Car Service", "we", "us", "our"). By booking a service, creating an account, using our website singhcarservice.com or our mobile applications, or otherwise engaging with our services, you accept these Terms in full.

If you do not accept these Terms, do not book, use or access our services. If you are booking on behalf of a third party (a company, a guest, a family member), you represent that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms and that the party has been informed of and agrees to them.

These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any corporate account agreement or event booking agreement you may have signed. In case of conflict between these Terms and a signed corporate agreement, the corporate agreement applies to that account.

2. Definitions

  • "Booking" means a confirmed reservation for chauffeur, limousine or transport service made through our website, app, phone, email or corporate portal.
  • "Chauffeur" means the professional driver assigned to your booking, whether an employee of Singh Car Service or a vetted independent partner operating under our brand standards.
  • "Passenger" means any person carried in a vehicle during your booking, including the person who made the booking and their guests.
  • "Vehicle" means the car, van, minibus, coach or stretch limousine assigned to your booking.
  • "Service" means any chauffeur, limousine, airport transfer, hourly hire, wedding, event, or related transportation service provided by Singh Car Service.
  • "Booking Confirmation" means the email or in-app notification that confirms your reservation, price and vehicle assignment.
  • "Corporate Account" means a signed business agreement between Singh Car Service and a company or entity for repeat bookings on monthly invoicing terms.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to book a service or create an account. By booking or registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement in your jurisdiction.

Parents and legal guardians may book services for minors aged 16-17 provided the parent or guardian remains legally responsible for the minor's conduct, safety and compliance with these Terms. Unaccompanied minors under 16 are not carried without prior written arrangement including guardian consent and a signed release.

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@singhcarservice.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You may not share your account with others. You may not create an account or make a booking using false, misleading or third-party payment information without authorization.

4. Booking and confirmation

A booking is only confirmed when we send you a Booking Confirmation by email or in-app notification with a booking reference number, price, pickup time and vehicle class. A quote request, a reservation request submitted through our website, or a call to our team is not a confirmed booking until we issue the confirmation.

For standard bookings (E-Class, S-Class, V-Class, SUV) we confirm within 30 minutes on business days and within 2 hours on weekends. For special vehicles (Sprinter, minibus, stretch limousine, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, vintage cars) confirmation may take up to 24 hours depending on availability.

You are responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off information, correct flight numbers for airport bookings, accurate passenger count, and any special requests (child seats, wheelchair access, extra luggage) at the time of booking. Late or incorrect information may result in service delays or additional charges.

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion, including for safety, legal, capacity or operational reasons. If we decline a booking after payment, we refund the full amount.

5. Payment and pricing

Prices are quoted in the currency of your booking (USD, EUR, GBP or JPY) and confirmed at the time of the Booking Confirmation. Quoted prices include the base fare, tolls, parking, fuel, complimentary water and up to 60 minutes airport wait time. Prices exclude gratuity (which is voluntary), extended overtime beyond the booked block, damage or cleaning fees, and any add-ons requested during the ride.

5.1 Payment methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Corporate accounts pay by consolidated monthly invoice on net-30 terms. We do not accept cash payments at the vehicle for online bookings.

5.2 Authorization and charge

For retail bookings, we authorize your card at the time of booking and charge on the day of service or as agreed at booking. Some bookings (weddings, multi-vehicle events, peak-season) require a deposit at the time of confirmation with balance due before service.

5.3 Failed payment

If your card authorization or charge fails, we may contact you for an alternate payment method. If payment cannot be secured within 4 hours of the scheduled pickup, we may cancel the booking with no refund of any deposit.

5.4 Additional charges

The following may be charged to the payment method on file after service completion, without further notice:

  • Overtime beyond the booked block
  • Extra wait time beyond the included window
  • Additional stops or route changes requested during the ride
  • Damage, cleaning or biohazard fees per Section 12
  • Toll or parking fees for routes outside the standard coverage zone
  • Add-ons agreed on the day (champagne service, extra child seats, etc.)

5.5 Gratuity

Gratuity is voluntary and never automatically added. If you wish to tip your chauffeur, cash or in-app tip options are available. Standard tips range from 10 to 20 percent in the US, and are appreciated but not expected in France, UK and Japan.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:

  • Standard vehicles (E-Class, S-Class, Maybach, V-Class, SUV): 100 percent refund if cancelled more than 24 hours before pickup. No refund inside 24 hours.
  • Large and specialty vehicles (Sprinter, minibus, coach, stretch limousine, Rolls-Royce, Bentley, vintage): 100 percent refund if cancelled more than 72 hours before pickup. No refund inside 72 hours.
  • Weddings and multi-vehicle events: 30 percent deposit is non-refundable. Balance refund policy defined in the refund policy.
  • Force majeure (weather, strikes, airport closure): full refund regardless of notice period.

Full details, timing, and process are in the Refund Policy.

7. Wait time, no-show and overtime

7.1 Included wait time

  • Airport pickups: 60 minutes free wait after flight lands (tracked via real-time flight data)
  • Hotel and address pickups: 15 minutes free wait after scheduled pickup time
  • Train station pickups: 30 minutes free wait after train arrival
  • Private jet pickups (FBO): 30 minutes free wait after wheels-down

7.2 Extended wait time charges

Beyond the included window, extended wait time is charged at:

  • €25/USD 30 per hour for standard vehicles
  • €50/USD 60 per hour for large and specialty vehicles

Wait time is billed in 15-minute increments after the first extended half hour.

7.3 No-show

If a passenger fails to appear at the pickup location within the included wait window and cannot be contacted through the phone number provided at booking, the booking is marked no-show. The full booking amount is charged. Verbal cancellations to a chauffeur do not count; cancel through the channels listed in Section 6.

7.4 Overtime

Overtime beyond the booked hourly block is charged at the same hourly rate as the booking, billed in 30-minute increments after the first 15 minutes. Overtime is subject to chauffeur availability. If the chauffeur must depart for another commitment, we will attempt to send a replacement vehicle.

8. Passenger conduct

Passengers must behave lawfully, respectfully and safely at all times. The person who made the booking is financially responsible for the conduct of all passengers in the vehicle during the booking.

You and your passengers agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions from the chauffeur, including seat belt use as required by local law
  • Respect the vehicle capacity (do not exceed the number of passengers stated at booking)
  • Refrain from any behavior that interferes with the safe operation of the vehicle
  • Refrain from verbal, physical or sexual harassment of the chauffeur or other passengers
  • Refrain from any conduct that is unlawful in the jurisdiction where the service is being provided
  • Respect the vehicle interior, upholstery, and equipment
  • Comply with local traffic and transport regulations

Violation of these obligations may result in immediate service termination with no refund, and may result in charges for damage, cleaning, or lost booking value per Section 12.

9. Prohibited items and activities

The following are strictly prohibited inside our vehicles at all times:

  • Smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vape pens, hookah)
  • Illegal drugs and controlled substances
  • Firearms, explosives, ammunition or other weapons (except by licensed diplomatic or security personnel with prior written arrangement)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, industrial chemicals or paint
  • Live animals (except registered service animals, and small caged pets with prior arrangement)
  • Confetti, glitter, feathers, powdered substances, party sprays (except biodegradable wedding confetti with prior arrangement)
  • Stained or wet items placed directly on upholstery
  • Fireworks, sparklers or open flames
  • Stolen or contraband goods
  • Any item that is illegal in the jurisdiction of pickup, drop-off or route

Eating is allowed in the vehicle by request. Discreet drinks (bottled beverages) are allowed. Wet or messy foods that risk staining upholstery require prior arrangement.

Violation of this section results in immediate service termination with no refund and full charges as per the damage schedule in Section 12.

10. Alcohol, smoking and drugs

10.1 Alcohol

Discreet alcohol consumption by passengers of legal drinking age (21 in the United States, 18 in France and United Kingdom, 20 in Japan) is permitted in our vehicles during private hire bookings, provided it does not interfere with the chauffeur or other passengers. We do not serve alcohol; passengers may bring their own or add our optional champagne service at booking.

Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited when:

  • Any passenger in the vehicle is under the legal drinking age of the jurisdiction
  • The booking is a school-related transfer, prom, or graduation shuttle
  • Local law prohibits open alcohol containers in vehicles (for example, several US states have open container laws)

10.2 Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers. This applies to all forms of smoking including tobacco, cannabis (where legal), and any other substance.

10.3 Drugs

Illegal drugs are prohibited at all times, in all jurisdictions. Possession or use of illegal drugs during a booking results in immediate service termination, forfeiture of all fees paid, and, where required by law, notification of law enforcement.

Zero tolerance

Any violation of the alcohol, smoking or drug policy in this section, or the prohibited items policy in Section 9, results in immediate termination of the service at the current location. The full booking amount is retained and additional damage or cleaning fees may be charged.

11. Minors and child safety seats

Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian or adult authorized in writing by the parent or guardian. Unaccompanied minors are not carried without a signed release from a parent or guardian in advance of the booking.

Child safety seats are provided free of charge upon request. To ensure the correct seat is installed, provide the following at booking:

  • The child's age
  • The child's weight
  • The child's height (for booster seat sizing)

Local law regarding child safety seats applies. In France, rear-facing seats are required for children under 15 months. In the United Kingdom, appropriate car seats are required until age 12 or 135cm. In the United States, requirements vary by state. In Japan, child seats are required for children under 6.

If you decline our free child seat and provide your own, you are responsible for installation, correct fit and compliance with local law. Singh Car Service and its chauffeurs are not liable for injury or non-compliance resulting from passenger-provided child seats.

12. Damage, cleaning and biohazard fees

You are financially responsible for damage caused by you or your passengers during the booking, beyond normal wear and tear. Charges are assessed based on repair cost, cleaning cost, and any vehicle downtime required.

12.1 Damage and cleaning schedule

The following are minimum charges. Actual charges may be higher if actual repair or replacement cost exceeds the minimum:

IncidentMinimum charge (USD)
Smoking or vaping in vehicle$500
Cigarette or burn damage to upholstery$500 per burn
Vomiting (interior cleaning + downtime)$1,000
Spillage requiring deep cleaning$200
Stained carpet or upholstery$300
Torn upholstery (per seat)$700
Broken window or glass$400
Broken interior fixture (remote, screen, charger)$250

12.2 Charging authority

By making a booking you authorize us to charge damage, cleaning and biohazard fees to the payment method on file, without requiring further authorization from you. We will send you an itemized receipt and photograph evidence of the damage within 7 days of the charge.

12.3 Dispute of damage charges

If you dispute a damage charge, contact refunds@singhcarservice.com within 14 days of the charge with your booking reference and a written explanation. We will review the evidence and respond within 14 days.

13. Luggage and personal property

Standard luggage allowances vary by vehicle:

  • Mercedes E-Class: 3 large cases plus hand luggage
  • Mercedes S-Class: 2 large cases plus hand luggage
  • Mercedes V-Class: 7 large cases plus hand luggage
  • Sprinter (16 pax): 16 large cases plus hand luggage

Oversized luggage (bikes, ski equipment, musical instruments, large art) requires prior arrangement. If your luggage exceeds the vehicle capacity and was not disclosed at booking, we may refuse to carry it or send an alternative vehicle at additional cost.

Singh Car Service is not liable for loss, theft or damage to personal items, luggage, valuables, business equipment or documents left in the vehicle. We recommend you carry high-value items in your hand luggage.

Items found in vehicles after a ride are held for 30 days at our lost-and-found service. To claim, contact support@singhcarservice.com with your booking reference and a description. Return shipping is at the customer's cost.

14. Service delivery and vehicle substitution

We use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver the vehicle class you booked and to arrive at the pickup time. However, we do not guarantee a specific vehicle make or model within a class.

We reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or higher class if the originally assigned vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical, safety, availability or other operational reasons. Substitution to a lower class of vehicle requires your consent and refund of the price difference.

Chauffeurs may select the route they judge most efficient based on traffic, road closures, safety and passenger comfort. Routes chosen by the chauffeur may not be the shortest by distance.

We do not guarantee arrival times affected by traffic, weather, roadworks, accidents, security incidents or force majeure. We track flight arrivals in real time for airport pickups and adjust our chauffeur dispatch accordingly.

15. Service refusal and termination

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a service in progress, without refund, if:

  • A passenger is intoxicated to a degree that poses a safety risk or risk of vehicle damage
  • A passenger threatens, harasses, or acts abusively toward the chauffeur or other passengers
  • A passenger violates any provision of Section 8, 9, or 10
  • The number of passengers exceeds the vehicle's licensed capacity
  • The passenger provided false or misleading information at booking
  • The passenger refuses to comply with lawful chauffeur instructions
  • Payment authorization fails and cannot be resolved
  • The passenger is under 18 and unaccompanied without pre-arranged release
  • Continuing the service would violate applicable law
  • Emergency or safety conditions require immediate termination

Where service is terminated for cause, the full booking amount is retained and any damage or additional cleaning fees are charged per Section 12.

16. Liability disclaimer and limits

16.1 As-is disclaimer

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

20. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, disclosure and protection of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By booking a service or using our platform, you consent to the processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

21. Dispute resolution and arbitration

21.1 Informal dispute resolution first

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at legal@singhcarservice.com with a written description of the dispute, your booking reference, and the resolution you seek. We will make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.

21.2 Binding arbitration (for US customers)

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, our services or your relationship with Singh Car Service (each a "Dispute") will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Arbitration takes place in Washington, District of Columbia. The arbitrator will apply the law of the District of Columbia. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

21.3 Jury trial waiver

You and Singh Car Service each waive the right to a trial by jury.

21.4 Class action waiver

Disputes must be brought individually. You may not act as a class representative, and no class or representative action may be brought against Singh Car Service.

21.5 Exceptions

The arbitration agreement does not apply to:

  • Claims of sexual assault or sexual harassment
  • Claims that qualify for small claims court in the jurisdiction where the customer resides
  • Injunctive relief for intellectual property infringement
  • Any claim that cannot lawfully be subject to arbitration under applicable law

21.6 EU, UK and Japan customers

Customers in the European Union, United Kingdom and Japan retain access to their local courts and consumer dispute resolution schemes as required by applicable law. The arbitration provisions above apply only where legally enforceable in your jurisdiction.

21.7 Online dispute resolution (EU)

EU customers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated to participate in ADR proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction

Nothing in this section prevents you from benefiting from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you reside.

23. Modifications to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements or business operations. When we make changes:

  • We update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For material changes, we notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect
  • For material changes affecting bookings you have already confirmed, the terms in force at the time of your booking apply to that booking
  • Where required by law, we obtain your consent to the new terms

Continued use of our services after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

24.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or of any other right under these Terms.
