Europe's business aviation gateway

Le Bourget is where private jets land in Paris.

Le Bourget (LBG / LFPB) is not a commercial airport. No airline tickets. No baggage carousels. No queues at passport control. If you flew to Paris on a private jet, corporate aircraft, or air charter, you landed at Le Bourget. If you flew commercial on Air France, Delta, or British Airways, you landed at Charles de Gaulle instead.

Le Bourget has served private aviation since 1919 when it opened as Paris first airport. Today it is Europe's busiest business aviation airport, handling roughly 50,000 aircraft movements per year across three runways. It is known in the industry as "the Teterboro of Europe" for its role serving hedge fund executives, corporate delegations, sports team charters, and heads of state landing in Paris.

Le Bourget sits 12 kilometres north-northeast of central Paris. That is closer than Charles de Gaulle (30 km) and about the same distance as Orly (13 km south). Twenty to thirty minutes to the Champs-Elysees via the A1 autoroute in normal traffic. There is no public transport connection to Le Bourget which is by design for a business aviation airport, so ground transportation is essentially chauffeur or private taxi only.

For clients arriving here, the transfer expectations are different from CDG or Orly. You expect the chauffeur at the aircraft door, not in a public arrivals hall. You expect coordination with the FBO ground team, not a name sign at baggage claim. You expect the vehicle to be positioned before you disembark. Singh Car Service was built serving Washington DC diplomatic corps since 2008 and understands what private aviation transfers require. This is where we operate at our natural standard.

How tarmac pickup works

What happens between wheels down and drive off.

The chauffeur is positioned before your aircraft lands. Give us the aircraft tail number at booking and we track your ETA in real time. The chauffeur arrives at your FBO 15 minutes before your scheduled touchdown, checks in with the ground handling team, and confirms the aircraft location on the ramp.

When wheels touch down, the chauffeur is notified. Depending on FBO ramp access rules, the vehicle is either at the aircraft steps as you disembark, or at the FBO terminal door as you walk through. Signature Flight Support, Universal Aviation, and Jetex all allow vehicle-to-aircraft coordination with advance notice.

Luggage is handled by the FBO ground team. Your chauffeur coordinates with them for direct vehicle loading. On typical arrivals, you are in the vehicle within 3 to 5 minutes of aircraft door opening, subject to any customs or immigration procedures your FBO requires.

Discretion is standard. No public arrivals hall. No name sign in public view. No questions to the FBO staff about who arrived. Singh Car Service was built serving the Washington DC diplomatic community since 2008 and understands what private aviation clients require. NDA is available on request.

Paris Air Show specialists

Le Bourget during Paris Air Show week.

Paris Air Show chauffeur service at Le Bourget with executive black car and business aviation aircraft

The Paris Air Show is the biggest week of the year at Le Bourget. Held biennially in June with the next edition in 2027, the show brings roughly 300,000 visitors, 2,500 exhibitors, and doubles or triples the private jet traffic at Le Bourget. Aerospace CEOs, defense ministry delegations, and airline procurement teams all fly private into LBG for the show.

Singh Car Service provides dedicated Paris Air Show chauffeur service. This includes tarmac pickup at all FBOs, executive transport between show pavilions on the airfield, hotel-to-Le Bourget shuttle service throughout the week, and multi-day chauffeur retention for delegation heads. The show runs Monday through Friday for trade, weekend for public.

Book 3 to 4 months ahead for Paris Air Show week. Vehicle availability triples in cost during the show if booked late. Corporate accounts secure priority allocations. Standard transfer times of 20 to 30 minutes push to 35 to 45 minutes during peak show traffic, so schedule accordingly.

One global chauffeur network

Same standard from Le Bourget to Washington DC.

Private aviation clients fly globally. Their chauffeur network should too.

Every other Le Bourget chauffeur company is Paris-only. Blackcars is Paris. Luxberri is Paris. KAR GO is Paris. Even Blacklane's global model uses local partners with varying standards.

Singh Car Service is not Paris-only. Same background-checked chauffeurs, same fixed-pricing standard, same 24/7 dispatch team across four cities on three continents: Washington DC (headquarters since 2008), London (all 5 London airports), Tokyo (Haneda and Narita), and Paris (all 4 airports including Le Bourget).

For private aviation clients this matters. When you land at Le Bourget on Monday for meetings in Paris, then fly private to Washington DC for a Wednesday meeting, then commercial to London Heathrow on Friday, Singh handles all three transfers under one corporate account, one invoice cycle, one 24/7 dispatch team.

Nobody else in the boutique chauffeur tier offers global consistency. See our Paris chauffeur service, Washington DC chauffeur service, and London chauffeur service for the full network.

What is the difference between Le Bourget and CDG?

Le Bourget (LBG) is Paris business aviation airport handling private jets and corporate aircraft. No commercial flights since 1980. The two airports are 8 km apart.

Yes. The Paris Air Show is held biennially in June at Le Bourget, next edition 2027. Singh Car Service provides dedicated chauffeur service throughout the show week including tarmac pickup, executive transport between show pavilions, and hotel-to-Le Bourget shuttles. Book 3 to 4 months ahead as demand triples that week.

What if my aircraft is diverted to CDG?

Contact us the moment you know. If timing allows, we reroute the Le Bourget chauffeur to meet you at CDG. Extra distance beyond 15 km is 1.50 euros per km, quoted to you before we proceed. Same fixed price if you rebook with the original airport.

Can I book a return Le Bourget transfer?
