What a Heathrow transfer actually costs.

Most London chauffeur sites hide their pricing behind a quote form. We do not. Here is what you pay for the routes people actually book from Heathrow, in pounds, all-in with ULEZ and forecourt charges included.

Route from Heathrow Distance Vehicle Fixed Price
Central London (Mayfair, Knightsbridge, Belgravia) 24 km Mercedes S-Class From £95
City of London (Bank, Liverpool Street) 26 km Mercedes S-Class From £115
Canary Wharf (business district) 42 km Mercedes S-Class From £125
Kensington + Chelsea 20 km Mercedes S-Class From £95
Windsor (Windsor Castle, Eton) 10 km Mercedes S-Class From £85
Ascot (Royal Ascot) 18 km Mercedes S-Class From £95
Gatwick (inter-airport transfer) 72 km Mercedes S-Class From £165
Group (7-14 passengers) Any Mercedes Sprinter From £185

What is included

Professional chauffeur. Meet-and-greet inside arrivals with a name sign. Real-time flight tracking. Luggage assistance. The 7 pound Heathrow forecourt drop-off charge. The 12.50 pound ULEZ daily charge. The 15 pound Congestion Charge when the route crosses that zone. Fuel. 60 minutes of free wait time after landing. First child seat free with 24-hour notice.

Nothing to pay the driver on arrival. Booking price is total price. VAT included. Gratuity optional and never expected.

The honest comparison

Why not a London black cab or the Elizabeth Line?

Fair question. A metered London black cab is a solid option. The Elizabeth Line is fast and cheap. We are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is the full comparison so you can decide what fits your trip.

Option Price to central London Wait time Best for
Singh Car Service chauffeur Fixed £95 Chauffeur already inside arrivals with your name Business meetings, first-time visitors, families with kids, VIP arrivals, anyone landing after 22:00
London black cab (metered) £55 to £95 depending on traffic 5 to 30 minutes at the rank Solo traveller with light luggage who does not mind meter surprises
Uber (UberX / Uber Executive) Variable (surge pricing common) 5 to 20 minutes at designated bay Off-peak arrivals who accept surge pricing risk
Elizabeth Line £12.80 to Paddington Runs every 4 to 10 minutes Budget travellers going to Paddington, Bond Street, or Canary Wharf who can carry own luggage
Heathrow Express £25 to Paddington Runs every 15 minutes Fastest train route to central London, 15 minutes to Paddington
Piccadilly Line (Tube) £6.30 to central London Runs every 5 minutes Cheapest option, 50 to 60 minutes with stairs and standing

Here is the honest breakdown: If you are a solo traveller with cabin luggage arriving at 10 AM going to Paddington, the Heathrow Express beats us on time. If you are a backpacker on a budget, the Piccadilly Line beats us on price. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

The value of a Singh Car Service chauffeur shows up in three situations. First, when you land tired at 22:30 and do not want to negotiate the taxi rank in the rain. Second, when you have a meeting at 09:00 in the City of London and cannot afford a delayed Elizabeth Line at 07:30 arrivals. Third, when you are a family of four with luggage and a pushchair that will not fit in a black cab.

What you actually pay for is not the drive. The drive is 24 kilometres on the M4. What you pay for is the guarantee of a professional chauffeur waiting with your name, a Mercedes S-Class instead of whatever cab is next in the rank, and a fixed price that will not surge because it is raining in London.

Which terminal are you landing at?

A Mercedes S-Class fits three passengers with normal luggage comfortably. A family of five with pushchairs needs a V-Class. Group of ten for a wedding needs a Sprinter. Book the right vehicle and the transfer works. Book the wrong one and you are calling for a second car.

Flight delay policy

What happens when your flight runs late.

Every Heathrow transfer includes real-time flight tracking. Your chauffeur has your flight number. When Air Traffic Control delays your arrival by 45 minutes, we know before you do. Your pickup time shifts automatically. No calls needed from you.

You get 60 minutes of free wait time after your actual landing time. That is the point where wheels touch tarmac, not the point you booked. Add a 30 minute buffer for international arrivals because UK Border Force queues at T5 can take 45 minutes on a bad day. Total protection built in: 90 minutes from touchdown.

What if you are held past 90 minutes. Usually because Border Force pulled your bag or the passport queue is unusually long. Call the chauffeur direct number on your booking confirmation. If we can extend, we do. If we cannot (because the chauffeur has another pickup), we send a replacement. You do not pay extra for delays we caused. You do pay extended wait rates (8 pounds per 15 min) if you asked us to hold past the free period for personal reasons.

Full flight cancellation. Free reschedule. Just email or call as soon as you know. No cancellation fee applied to the booking.

Flight diverted to different airport. Contact us fast. If you land at Gatwick or Stansted instead of Heathrow, we usually can reroute the chauffeur if the timing works. Extra distance beyond 30 miles may be charged at 1.20 pounds per mile, disclosed to you before we proceed.

One global standard

Same standard as our DC, Tokyo, and Paris operations.

Corporate Heathrow airport transfer in London with professional chauffeur and executive black car

What makes Singh Car Service different from every other Heathrow chauffeur company.

Every Heathrow chauffeur company advertises fixed pricing, professional drivers, and meet-and-greet. That is table stakes. The real difference shows up when you land at Heathrow for a London trip, then two weeks later fly into Reagan National for a Washington DC meeting, then a month after that need a chauffeur in Tokyo. You want the same chauffeur standard across all three cities. That is what Singh delivers.

Singh Car Service operates in four cities on three continents: Washington DC (headquarters since 2008), London (all 5 airports), Tokyo (Haneda and Narita), and Paris (all 4 airports). Same background-checked chauffeurs. Same fixed pricing. Same 24/7 dispatch. One corporate account works in all four cities.

For American executives flying into Heathrow, this is not a minor detail. It is the difference between arriving jetlagged and greeted by a familiar chauffeur brand versus starting from scratch with a UK company you have never used. Your DC corporate account gets you a Mercedes at Heathrow arrivals the same way it does at Reagan National.

For UK executives flying to Washington DC, Tokyo, or Paris, this works in reverse. Book your Heathrow return leg with Singh, and your DC arrival transfer is already covered under the same account, same standard, same invoice cycle.
